Beautiful shots on moments but fails to hold a close intense brace that a story like this needs. It’s dirty intimate. Transporting back and forth to bodies giving the grief a moment to settle in, growing its roots deeper and deeper. Eventually it seems that’s all we do however. Pungent at first but becomes sliding all over sand. Just never develops and pushes itself further. On the front foot immediately intriguing but becomes cyclical too quick and for too much of the runtime. Great pieces but a poor build.
