This one was really for the fans of the franchise, and I am one so I ate it up. There's girlboss Ichikawa, a giant flying fetus, Kudo being downgraded from a director to a producer, a goofy master exorcist in an Adidas jacket and so much more!

I will miss this series so bad, thakfully there are a dozen of spin off shortfilms and other bonus material, which i will be watching soon enough!!

Slight improvement over the last two sequels. The opening sequence was absolutely chilling and a kick ass way to start the film. In fact, it was going pretty well until the entire gang went into the building with the exorcist— after that the whole plateaued and unravelled into a confusing mess. The first entry will always be the best.

Goodbye Kudo, Ichikawa and Toshiro.

The alleged final entry in what is easily the best found footage series. A paranormal investigation show but the monsters are real seems so obvious. Yet it hasn't really been done outside of this. Even if it was there is no way it would combine folktale, government conspiracy, time travel, and cosmic horror like this. Scary, funny, stupid, genius. If anything should inspire low budget filmmakers let it be movies like these. No one does it like Koji Shirashi but we should be encouraged to try. 

Kudo and Ichikawa should be seen as horror protagonist legends on par with Ash Williams and Ellen Ripley.
