It always amuses me how dubbing was so seamlessly made back then. It’s incredible to see all of these iconic actors play in the same beautiful film. Would love to revisit this one day.

99/100 A historical epic, modern now as it was 70 years ago. Beautiful costumes, scenery, cinematography; universal themes like death, the change of an era, the fall of a social class. One of the best films in Italian cinema.
