Relentlessly bleak. 16 minutes of me NOT having fun. Pretty landscapes, but something about this (other than its dark cold bleak subject matter) didn't work. Maybe I wanted to understand Ivalu more, perhaps it should have been a speaking role? I'm not 100% sure what didn't work for me, but I could tell there is something there. This kind of subject matter and the story this attempts to tell doesn't belong in a short.
