I would go insane if I ever attempted to applicably analyze Farewell to the Ark. Therefore, I'll just state that no matter the angle from which I approach it, this is one of the most compelling and layered films I've ever seen. One could call Shuji Terayama the greatest filmmaker ever, even though he only directed a handful of feature length films.
