such a good show with all rounded characters. I love how the characters are mostly 3 dimensional, and the show takes us back to see their origin story if you will. some surprisingly redeemable characters, like Doggett, I didn't expect to like her that much.
funnily enough, i didn't care much for Piper, she was only maybe tolerable in the first season? characters like Taystee, Poussey, Red, Gloria, and Nicky were way stronger and made the show what it is - and I may be biased cos they're my favorite characters lol, especially Taystee. she's the heart of the show and I'm sure I wouldn't have liked it as much if she wasn't as central.
it's very human, I love that about this.
especially season 7, where we're not only looking at criminals but innocent people who are immigrants. if I learnt anything, it's that the system is fucked.
anyways, I def recommend
