i’ve wanted to watch this film for years now & was finally able to get a physical copy recently! really good character designs & interesting plotline. the makeup effects look really great too, especially given its clear low budget. the 16mm cinematography gives it a really cool appearance & Nishimura had a clear vision of which he achieved. while i definitely prefer Tokyo Gore Police, this is a great predecessor that is worth watching for fans of Japanese cyberpunk!

Some of these Japanese filmmakers needs chill the fuck out 😂 Strange, colourful and surreal. Feels like I was going insane and not in a good way. Still impressive and somewhat entertaining. The visuals were amazing, but this is the movie equivalent of having a k-hole in a war zone.
