I can’t say “Love Me Strangely” is terrible, the 70s visuals are so beautiful that it practically saves the entire film, but the plot is such a toxic men's world all the way that it makes me lazy to watch it. Basically, the story is about Alain, a sick man who uses women and then makes them suffer because of a mediocre obsession and lack of sense. In terms of being an absurd film, I don't think so. It could have been way worse. What I mean is that the story may be rotten, but I didn't feel that it was represented in an extremely unacceptable and offensive way, in short, not something highly unwatchable which really made me rest because I was really afraid that the film would make me sick.
