Miyazaki really never misses. This is my lowest ranked film from the legendary animation director, but still a phenomenal film. His animation style provides a sense of comfort that any other director simply cannot replicate. Another beautiful film in the Ghiblo catalog.

when the gentle gardener robot offered them the flower i cried. just a pure feel-good movie about courage and true love that makes you feel a sense of wonder that only studio ghibli can accomplish. so lovely 💞
