This movie is so unbelievably hard to watch. Bibi and Max sound like they are reading their lines phonetically, almost as if someone is feeding the lines to them offscreen and they repeat them onscreen. It is painful. Elliot Gould is in a different movie. Nobody knows what the movie is about. It watches as if each scene is improvised from the one before. It is so bizarrely awkward and vacant. Watching The Touch feels like looking into the eyes of a dead fish. There is nothing behind it. It is a little gross, completely empty, and pointless.
