Pocahontas is one of Disney's most visually stunning films, but it truly baffles my mind that they thought it was alright to romanticise the tragic and horrific story of Matoaka. While I appreciate the sentiment of the song 'Colours of the Wind', and while it's absolutely beautifully composed and sung, the rest of the film is just white saviour propaganda, and I can't get behind that. So, while I don't want to give a low rating to one of the only princesses of colour in the Disney lineup, it would behoove me to do so.

By far, this is the worst animated disney film I've ever watched.

The tribe are stereotypical and the film didn't put enough emphasis on the Native American culture and the whole story has no beginning nor end.

Atleast the dog raccon interactions were cute.
