An aughts’ CGI tech demo with the most boringly lame story slapped on to it. You put it on only to reassure yourself that it actually existed. The effects, the lighting in particular, are distractingly dated. The main dino is this welp Obama voter lecturing the other dinosaurs on the importance of cooperation. Disney didn’t know that kids like a bit of edge. James Newton Howard’s score is pretty good though.

I absolutely adored this movie as a kid but the animation of the dinosaurs is pretty bad. It’s still a solid movie.
