Of course a movie about corrupted and failed police system was set in Italy. Anyway, it could've been an email, at this point I'm convinced that the worst movies call Cate Blanchett because they're sure that people will like it anyway (im people).

The most realistic part of this was an entire police station not knowing about a whole hideout in their own ceiling, the most unrealistic part was a man in his 50s washing his hands after using the toilet and EVEN DRYING THEM.
Cate Blanchett delivered, as always, a wonderful performance and Ribisi was..just there.

It had a really great potential, and an overall great premise, but the forced romance, the lack of action and backstory, and the absolute absence of emotions, depth and character building made it taste like boiled rice and semi-raw meat, all strictly unseasoned.

If you're sensitive and cannot handle strong views avoid watching, not for the shot man bleeding on the ground, but for the sight of bald Cate Blanchett.

This is abhorrently underrated. First 20 minutes is one of the tightest, well directed sequences I’ve ever seen in a thriller. Something about the combination of Kieslowski’s words on the page and Tykwer’s interpretation of them hits the sweet spot in my brain.

L'unica cosa che ho trovato più emozionante è quando ha ucciso quattro persone accidentalmente, e il resto del film è piuttosto vago. Questa è la prima volta che vedo Cate parlare in italiano e radersi la testa, il che rende questo film molto più bello.
