I last saw The Good Dinosaur when it was first released for my sister's birthday, and I had no recollection of anything that happened in the film. After rewatching it, I have to say that although it did make me cry a little, it's not quite as good or impactful as it could've been. The main issue for me, was that although the concept of an Earth inhabited by dinosaur farmers is cool, the story is kinda boring, and the pacing is a bit wack, too, so I wasn't very invested. However, the animation was beautifully done, and the voice cast did an excellent job, Sam Elliott, Jeffrey Wright, and Frances McDormand in particular. Overall, I'm not sure I'd revisit this on my own, but it's probably a good film to watch with younger family members/friends.
