I forgot how immaculate this movie was. Honestly it’s one of the best war movies I’ve seen. I’m also a huge sucker for war movies but this one is pretty much war nonstop. I do feel like the beginning is just a tad bit long but it does a great job of some character development on some secondary characters that become integral later. Yeah this one is kinda depressing and doesn’t have a happy, go team type of ending but for me that always works. A little annoyance I had with the film is the wives, it almost felt like they weren’t taken too seriously in the movie and they felt forced in and out of place. It was like a gossip circle, war edition. I would have reworked that in all honesty. Still love this movie though. Best line, it’s getting a little sporty down here.
