this was… fine? but definitely not very good.

a highly simplistic sex comedy from the early 2000s, that i just felt hasn’t aged very well, at all. the soundtrack is kinda fun, and i almost enjoy the trashy, tasteless feel this has. it was moderately entertaining, but overall just not great. some themes throughout kinda had misogynist undertones, plus it’s just not very consistent, the first half being a lighthearted romance, and the second half kinda just ditching that, and turns into some weird porn production. mostly inoffensive, but also gets quite dull at parts.

Back when pandemic I find this movie on FB clips because I'm so bored like literally bored I watched it and boom this movie is the reason why I love and I get deeper in cinema!

Oh my gosh I was doomscrolling through my watched films and this movie just felt so out of place but then I remembered I used to watch shitty movies in high school with my ex while we were hooking up but this time I think he was trying to tickle me like pre-hookup and I broke his watch (?? dunno how that happened) and then he got upset and wouldn’t talk to me so we actually did end up thoroughly watching this movie in complete silence and it was absolutely awful I cannot detach this film from that experience and solely for that reason does it have this low of a rating. I’m sure it’s not very good though.

So if you, the reader, are ever scrolling through my watched movies and this sticks out to you, here’s why I watched it. I would never voluntarily allow something like this to have my attention for any period of time. I just needed white noise so it wasn’t dead silent while unholy deeds took flight!
