From the gentle pastels of 1950s Mexico City during the day to the brilliance of the stars competing with a motel's neon lights at night. The cinematography looks flawless, but the plot is something we’ve seen countless times before. Reminded me of “Brokeback mountain” in a way, but didn’t enjoy it as much.
