Idk, for me this was kinda mid. Half of the movie was boring af, liked the final fight tho, Orga’s design is hella tuff and their fight was so brutal and awesomeee (tbh that’s the only part when I didn’t feel bored lol)
First of all…I FUCKING HATE the English dub (ik that’s not the reason to judge a movie, but it’s basically impossible to find the og cause Sony bought the rights and forced their version as the "official" one) They cut 10 minutes of footage and butchered the dialogue with cheesy-Hollywood-ahh style jokes(😵) It’s tragic that this goofy, edited mess is the standard version instead of the actual film omdd
I can’t with that girl, her mom almost dies, then her dad is about to get blown up and she just fuckin smiles???? Wtf, even Miki from the Heisei era had better acting. But ig they always have to include one annoying character, right?
THAT GODZILLA DESIGN THO? im fucking in love, this is literally peak Goji design oat. For me, it’s all about how massive and menacing he feels here. And when those jagged spikes finally showed up... bro, they are so unbelievably tuff, I stg I got chills. It’s a straight-up 10/10 look, I just want to glaze it non-stop because he looks so brutal and dangerous in every scene🥹🥹
Maybe I set the bar too high for this movie because it’s a new era but idkk i didnt really fw plot…. I’m not usually strict with criticism, especially when it comes to Godzilla, so I hope it gets better later in the Millennium era
