I really don’t know how to rate this film. It’s so boring and so sexist but I love the cinematography and most anything that features Cold War content. I miss film 🎞️ movies and I miss when people framed every shot like a photograph. There’s a black and white sequence about an hour into the film that I found phenomenal. That sequence and that sequence alone is responsible for this rating. In full transparency, I’m not done with the movie. I’ve gotten through 2 of apparently 3 hours. I’ll finish it tomorrow maybe. Hilarious that this was a rec from my mom. I recommend this movie to anyone who reblogged film stills on tumblr and men who see their lovers as art (no shade). I don’t recommend this movie to anyone who wants to be entertained.
