Felt more like an episode of Goosebumps or the Twilight Zone and as such, not really warranting of a two hour runtime. Its a pretty fun concept but I think that having everything occur chronologically makes it a bit dull. However their are some pretty well done sequences, particularly the end and some of the “prank” scenes.

Great concept. Really dark themes like husband killing his wife and a 15 year old boy committing suicide but overall the movies just a slog. None of the characters hook in your mind. But fuck "buy now pay later" is such a good movie tagline.

i don’t know how to impress upon you that physical damage done to my body does not affect me in the long term; it’s really cute that you’re gonna defeat me with “the power of friendship” and all, but, again, i am THE devil from THE bible, so…
i thought this was gonna be a thing about malls and consumerism (a la that one episode of archie’s weird mysteries; an absolute 10 out of 10), but this fucked in its own way
(the kid’s scene was actually shocking)
