The Michael Myerless Halloween 3. I actually really liked this movie. The acting isn’t all that great but the story is fire, also I love that it’s centered around and highlights the actual Halloween holiday. Great watch this year one my favorites out the franchise now.

No Michael Myers, get over it this movie shouldn’t be poorly rated because of that reason. You got your myers sequels and then some and look how that turned out.

This movie will forever be underrated and never get the flowers it deserves simply because people can’t get past the fact that Michael Myers isn’t in it. But honestly? That’s what makes it special. The atmosphere drips with Halloween vibes — the eerie small-town settings, the moody score, and the overall spooky season aesthetic. Every time I revisit it, I find myself wishing Carpenter’s original anthology idea had actually gone through. An ongoing series of different Halloween stories every year? That would’ve been awesome.

The concept here is so wild and chilling: witches using ancient technology and channeling it into Halloween masks as a ritual sacrifice. The thought of kids all over the country sitting in front of their TVs, excited and innocent, completely unaware of what’s about to happen it’s horrifying. And that ending… wow. Watching Tom Atkins desperately scream for them to shut down the Silver Shamrock broadcast as the ad loops on every channel is pure nightmare fuel. It’s one of the most haunting finales in horror, because deep down you know he probably didn’t stop it. Halloween 3 Season of the Witch is so goooooood. It deserves way more love than it gets.
