70’s post-war PTSD before PTSD was a “thing”, but I couldn’t sympathize one bit after they straight up kill a woman in the first 20 minutes by jettisoning her from their speeding car.
It is super sad when the dad goes to grab his coat and theyve already left, but at the same time the dad was a total dick so i feel like it resonates with my own father, who will also say some heartless and fucked up bullshit at the dinner table and then expect that everything is fine 10 seconds later. And i feel sad for him too.
I think I only put this in my watchlist because Paul Koslo was so hot as Dutch in the Omega Man.
