I was invited to a wrap party, last night...
I drank the whole thing...
It was a Koskenkorva vodka bottle...
Threw up everything... on the couch, on the floor, myself.
Blackout...
I embarrassed myself, and a whole lotta people...
Everytime when the characters were drinking alcohol or just pouring alcoholic made me sick...
That heroin torture scene fucked me up, man...
Same goes with the cold turkey scene...
Man, I gotta lay off the booze...
Loved the ending tho.

Obviously not the masterpiece that the first one is, but kind of insane that they managed to make a pretty good sequel at all. Middle of the movie does something I’ve never really seen tackled in a cop movie before. Also, what an ending. The 70’s really knew how to make their last 10 seconds pack a punch.

Marseille ≠ New York, das muss Popeye auf die harte Tour lernen. Der kalte Heroinentzug in der versifften Zelle ist dabei unkonventionell und gerade deshalb so stark für einen Film dieser Gangart. Im letzten Drittel dann leider generischere Action.
