It actually surprised me. I started watching it as usual drama about teenage-mum relationship, but it got deep into mum's mind in the way I didn't expect.

Allerede før filmen var ferdig, tenkte jeg at dette kom til å være en av de beste filmene jeg har sett på filmfestivalen så langt. Karakterene var utrolig godt laget, og historien traff meg virkelig. Jeg så flere likheter med Beautiful Boy, en film jeg setter høyt, og det gjorde opplevelsen enda sterkere. Og når man legger til den fantastiske slutten, ble det rett og slett «the cherry on top» på en allerede imponerende film.

I like the idea and as far as im aware this is the only estonian film that has tried something like this, but i feel like the execution wasn’t the best. The main problem i have with this is the character Mariann and how over exaggerated she was as a whole. But other than the fact that half of this movie felt like a weird cautionary tale then i do think that the idea is pretty good.
