I never watched the first film as from the plot alone I can pretty much guess what happens. But I was really interested when I found out the sequel was going to be this action film. Reminded me of terminator going from horror to action. I will watch the first Megan soon though. But I really digged this film. It was enjoyable and had some cool action. The one liners were pretty bad but I also don't blame the crew and company for going full camp and silly with the character with how much people loved Megan in the first film and all the jokes they made about her. Despite not seeing the first film, I do like how they push the relationship between Gemma and Cady. Amelia and M3gan were pretty cool although I do wish we got more from Amelia. Cole was silly I liked him. The plot definitely made sense for what the series is. It's a fun film. I know when the trailer released and the film was in theaters, people bashed it a lot. But I definitely don't think it deserved all that hate. I'm glad they committed to the genre 180. It worked.
