#27. Quite different from your normal werewolf film, this feels more modern in a way. But I don't love it. I like the detective stuff, but overall I just don't love this, it's just a good film.

35/100 Horror Movies in 92 Days 2025
I've seen multiple movies where a cop is a werewolf, but this is the first wolf-based (werewolf adjacent) cop procedural.
It's really well done, Albert Finney is capital H Haunted by the end, and it's fascinating to see how far down the rabbit hole he has to go to find the truth.
Not slow, per se, but thoughtfully paced.

interesting wolfen vision but it does induce motion sickness pretty heavily </3
while there were a lot of aspects i enjoyed about this movie it was hard to really care about anything that was going on?
