For all of Theresa Russell's masterful performance (as is expected, obviously) and Roeg's vision for making the mundane seem magical, there are a few pieces and stretches of this that at times don't seem to wholly fit within the grand scheme of the work.
The highs far outweigh the lows, and I'd love to rewatch this down the line as maybe I'm just not familiar enough with Roeg at this moment to have loved this for what it provides.
