Forgotten horror movie challenge: 34/53letterboxd.com/lepyboy/list/forgotten-horror-movies-challenge/
I really want to give this 3 stars, as it's a fun, quick, entertaining ride, but it's just so aggressively mid. I liked the villain and her design both before and after the mask was taken off. The movie is quick in and out, and is incredibly time-efficient. The opening scenes were also strong, the story of Matilda Dixon and Kyle Walsh's scenes. I also really liked the concept and thought the movie had some interesting ideas. Fuck it, I give it 3 stars. I enjoyed myself. Overall, this is a film that could have easily been garbage, but it's surprisingly alright. It's not a philosophical art masterpiece, but it's just trying to be a studio horror film, and it's confident in what it is, and I liked it.
