Got an Ad on instagram for the steel book edition of this film and snapped it up immediately. The steel book is really nice and comes with a few extras and a 4k and regular blu ray copy of the movie.
As for the movie it self, the movie spends too much time ogling the main characters in the film and not enough setting up the danger and threats and once these threats arrive it feels like they leave too soon. Would have liked a better balance between the two cause for an exploitative horror film it lacks in the horror department. That being said when there is violence, gore and blood it looks good! Was genuinely pleased with some of the practical effects, costume work and weapon designs. Ultimately I enjoyed this movie and think it’s decent outing, just wish some of the ogling had been trimmed or more horror/carnage had been added. Will definitely add this to a Halloween rotation as this was a fun watch.
