no tienen idea del hype que le tenía, me re decepcionó y seria poco decirlo
la película no tiene dirección no se entiende un carajo, no sabes quién es quién, es demasiado woke también, es un sin sentido total 
quien verga era o eran los miller’s

watched this in english class for some reason. and i didn't really care for this. to me it was just a big boring mess. the only thing i liked was the scenes with Gregg Turkington and Micheal Cera as cops, and other than that there wasn't really anything interesting. plot wasn't anything special and neither was the acting. i genuinely can't remember anything that happened and all it did was leave me bored and a little confused.pretty bad, but not terrible

Almost painfully real in a way that makes your heart yearn for times past, and then out of no where, two sketch comedy characters pop in every 20 minutes and do a bit. It’s great!

The one thing that made me feel like I was losing my mind were the frosted windows. It’s entirely possible they were indeed cold but they looked distractingly fake. I’ll fully take the L if I’m wrong here but it distracted me all movie.

Just like Christmas itself, it’s a little overstuffed. Feels like two different movies slammed together, and not in a good way.

The real beauty is in the shooting of the greetings, the conversations, the utter chaos of this sort of family gathering. The stolen time to rebel. The individual moments are captured beautifully, but I’m not sure about the connective tissue between them. 

There are quietly gorgeous shots strewn about, just total bangers. Love to see Scorsese outside of TikTok. 

Felt a little blue as I realized that I’ll likely never experience a Christmas like this again.
