If you’re out off by the band this is t going to change your mind but even they basically talk about that and realize it. They are making enthusiastic music for big emotions and aren’t particularly worried about cool which does make them come off as dweebs sometimes but it’s just them. I like that part of it and the performances are all great. I don’t think the song they write for letterman is very good and I don’t care much for letterman’s additions in general but I still had a good time because the music at the end of the day holds up fuckin well
