Follows Prince Naseem Hamed from his humble beginnings on the tough working-class streets of Sheffield and his discovery by Ingle, himself a steel industry worker turned boxing trainer. Their unlikely partnership, Naz’s unorthodox style, cocky persona, and sheer dominance in the ring propelled them to the top of boxing’s elite and unprecedented levels of global superstardom, all in the face of the rampant Islamophobia and racism of ’80s and 90’s Britain.

my dad loved this movie. we always enjoy watching biopics about athletes when we have family movie nights. he is just trying to motivate us too ig lol. i think this is turning into my dad’s page..
now MY review is.. i liked the movie, there’s different vibe to sport movies, different camera movements that make shots look more dynamic. That Naseem Hamed boxer was such a bitch omg. my mom kept gasping when he and brandon fought in the ring.
“Dance and move”trainer is the real goat here. taking kids from the streets and teaching them everything he knows.
i don’t really like when people say everything they learned from others was actually from god. sometimes you have to give credit where credit is due. i don’t judge tho. everyone believes in what they think is best.
anyway, 7/10 (that’s my dad’s rating lmao)
