Okay so quick tangent before the actual review but something went wrong at the theater I saw this at and so we were just sitting there for like 40 minutes doing nothing before the finally figured everything out.
Now for the actual review, I know this opinion is probably just flat-out incorrect, but I actually like this a bit more than Superman. Guardians of the Galaxy is one of my favorite movies ever, and this movie took heavy inspiration from that trilogy, especially Volume Three (no shit Sherlock, it’s James Gunn). There are definitely flaws that I am overlooking, but honestly I had such a fun time that I don’t really care.
I do wish they did more with Lobo though he was so tuff
