Man, this Supergirl trailer has me absolutely losing it in the best way. The second it started, I could tell this movie is gonna look crazy on a big screen. The cinematography already feels on another level — huge space shots, wild colors, dramatic close-ups, and just this perfect mix of gritty and gorgeous. Milly Alcock looks like she’s having the time of her life as Kara, and every frame feels like it was shot to make you say “holy crap, this is BEAUTIFUL.” I’m honestly stunned at how good this movie looks, and it’s just the trailer.

And then BAM — Lobo shows up and I basically screamed. Jason Momoa as the Main Man is such a wild, perfect choice, and the little glimpse we got of him already has me imagining how nuts their screen time together is gonna be. The whole trailer just feels fun, loud, stylish, and on a whole new vibe. If the movie keeps this energy all the way through, we’re in for an absolute ride. I’m stupidly hyped already.

I also Loved when she said:
“He sees the good in everyone. And I see the truth.” when referring to Superman.

Milly Alcock stepping into the role of Supergirl feels like the kind of casting win you celebrate for weeks—she just fits the energy of Kara Zor-El so perfectly. And the fact that they’re adapting “Woman of Tomorrow,” one of the most gorgeous and emotional DC stories ever, has me pacing like my life depends on it. Craig Gillespie and Ana Nogueira feel like the exact duo who would understand how weird, cosmic, heartfelt, and brutal this story needs to be. And yes, I’m absolutely hoping we get even a half-second glimpse of Jason Momoa as LOBO. That casting is so perfect it almost doesn’t feel real, and if he shows up in this trailer? I’m done for.

And honestly, even though I loved Superman (2025)—like, that was the PERFECT kickoff for the new DCU—I really think Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is about to hit just as hard, if not harder. Everything about this movie screams that it’s going to be special: Kara’s tragic origin, the heavy sci-fi vibes, Krem from the Yellow Hills getting introduced as a legit threat, and the emotional journey of Ruthye riding alongside Supergirl on this mission for justice. It’s the kind of story made for the big screen. If the trailer tomorrow delivers even a fraction of what makes the comic so incredible, we’re about to witness PEAK DC cinema.
