Well crafted story with Egoyans point of view strongly guiding the invasive and heavy narrative. The use of stage and opera was a great touch, providing epic theatrical visuals and giving a successful foil to the more intimate scenes.

Art imitating life, the scars of the past permeating into the future, the main themes that Seven Veils touches upon paint an incredible picture, definitely one of the best of the decade, and one that needs more attention, Amanda Seyfried in the lead acts out of her skin, with such a commanding performance, those incredible monologues cement this as the best performance of her career
