Sophie Thatcher’s a modern day scream queen, so fun to see.

Really wish they didn’t pour all of their money into the marketing budget, beating everyone over the head with the give-it-all-away trailer on social media is so reductive to what was actually a pretty decent build up and initial reveal. Past this I felt Companion struggled with arc issues and a level of predictability that I would not have expected from Zach Cregger given how bold and creative Barbarian was a few years ago.

Fun concept and fun execution for the most part. Satisfying character growth and some funny sequences aimed to poke fun at annoying dudes. Overall though this really could’ve just been bigger and better.
