this movie was so fun, had me engaged every second. loved how every loose string was tied and it all came back full circle. i’m sure there is more commentary there too. definitely something i didn’t expect from Scorsese given all the more serious work i’ve seen, but i really liked this!

After Hours (1985)

Not Martin Scorsese’s usual style, really weird but kinda fun to watch one of those films that would be great watching at night.

One thing that stood out about this one to me is the cinematography its really great, overall the comedy drags a bit imo, not really much wrong with it just a classic film worth watching.

this movie is insanely good and so carefully detailed. it’s amazing how much can be done in just 97 minutes. the plot is a perfect kind of chaos. the cast is incredible, as always in martin scorsese films. the soundtrack is flawless and it captures the character’s emotions exactly as he feels them. i love you, paul. he is me, i am him.
