DC Down

Thanks to DC Down, for the first time in a long time I paused a film halfway through because I couldn’t stomach to watch it all in one sitting.

The acting is buns, the CGI is abysmal and the story just makes no sense, like why is there only like 3 government workers there when the president and vice president are stuck in a DESTROYED WHITE HOUSE like what are we even doing here.

The acting is buns, the CGI is abysmal and the story just makes no sense, like why is there only like 3 government workers there when the president and vice president are stuck in a DESTROYED WHITE HOUSE like what are we even doing here.

Choosing to watch a movie about a man in a high position of power trying to take over the country with the help of a group of loyal supporters who are also very much a militia. Why on this particular date? …. no reason…

Anyway, the Asylum are money making geniuses. I mean, Tubi is paying them for these! Paying them! With dollars! And in turn Tubi gets a movie where nothing beyond some not very good CGI and some basic political thriller (plus Eric Roberts clearly reading off of his phone in one scene) happens! The only thing down in the remote vicinity of DC are my brain cell counts. There’s no intensity behind the film! You get what you pay for, I guess. I just hope they didn’t pay too much.
