When I was a kid, I saw a picture of the vampire from this film (same one as this banner photo) and it reasonably spooked me out. And while inevitably the real movie isn't as good my mind came up with, these Bloodthirsty Trilogy movies are just kinda inherently neat. Hammer-ish Gothic horror in Japan, gotta love it. This one isn't as good as The Vampire Doll, but this definitely ups the style. The last few minutes are particularly quite cool.

Huge disappointment coming off of Vampire Doll, but at least Lake of Dracula maintains some of the visual panache. Otherwise, Lake is really dull due to a meandering and unfocused script.
