A lovecraftian movie that doesn't reach the heights of color out of space but still an intriguing movie with moments of tension and a bittersweet but still lovecraftian ending.

I had to do some digging after finishing this one. It was reviewed so well, but aside from a couple cool ideas, it’s really not great. 

Nothing sent my mind reeling and at no point did I question reality, which is what it sounds like was the desired effect. Everything was pretty deliberate and on the nose. This could very well be a slice of life film to the Welsh for all I know.

Un film trovato per sbaglio su prime video appena uscito da un qualche festival di serie B puo' riservare delle sorprese a volte

Older Gods non é sicuramente una perla rara nascosta chissá dove, é a volte un po' troppo logorroico con vere e proprie discussioni tra il protagonista e la setta che ammazzano la tensione, è eccessivamente didascalico e forse sarebbe stato meglio rimanere piu sul vago, renderlo piu metafisico piuttosto che presentare il gruppo di pazzi pronto ad ammazzarlo
Scade un po' troppo nel cliché

Lovecraft peró nel cinema funziona sempre, l'idea di base é veramente accattivante e la prima parte è ottima.
