Unmasked Part 25

Thank you Vinegar Syndrome for introducing me to this movie. Some great looking kills in this film and I really enjoy the concept of the movie. Slasher/Comedy/Rom-com... it's a bit of everything and I cannot wait to start recommending this to people. It's a very very very wild but enjoyable film. What other slasher film do you know where there's a full BDSM scene INVOLVING THE SLASHER!! It's insane but so worth the watch as it's a fun British spoof of the Friday the 13th series. The ending broke my heart but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for part 26!!

I thought the romance element was pretty cute so I wasn't very impressed at all with how they treated it towards the end. I get this is a small budget parody horror/comedy but it is so self indulgent with it's self awareness it becomes a little cringy. I enjoyed the first 50 minutes or so but it falls off towards the end, that ending too was rather shite 😂 Not a completely irredeemable film but fell pretty flat in the end

British jason vorhees takes the cake!

This film is fun and wacky and the british accents were the cherry on top because it made the dialogue even funnier.

There's also some wild sleazy moments especially between jackson and his girl that made me LOL and we also get some male rear and full frontal nudity and very limited female nudity which surprised me.

The film drags a bit in the middle section and i wish that most of the kills weren't packed to the first 16 minutes.

The monster design without the mask is just as repulsive as Jason's.

I'll be sure to give it a rewatch soon.

Up there with Don’t Open Until Christmas as far as British slashers go. I was needlessly worried this would be like a certain more recent slasher parody I can’t remember the title of. 

Genuinely sweet and funny, until it pulls the rug out from under you. Feels ahead of its time. I was expecting SOV excrement, but this works on a lot of levels.
