Definetly a beautiful story with gorgeous landscapes, but I also felt that the themes and information were spoonfed too much for my liking and I definetly think the characters relationship could have been challenged a little more.

Fresh air from the screen 
This felt healing while still getting away with a pretty cheesy edit at times
Started off so dream-like and gradually shed it’s ethereal aspects as it journeyed along 
Which could be a shame given how amazing those qualities were 
But like I said, it gets away with it
I suppose that makes sense with such a wholesome and pure core 
Right at this things heart it’s just lovely, and it’s lovely all the way to the surface too 
Stands alone and proud in my head as a tough and loving hike through the mountains, getting closer with everything around you

seeing this movie brought me so much joy!
i love movies that scream something, and this one went "i love my dad!!!" so many times that i got emotional. especially when the father was in tears when his son was carrying him on his back.
i also have to thank this movie for letting me see 刘烨 （Liu Ye）again, after falling for his performance in 《Lan Yu》, in this movie you can clearly see his charm and beautiful mannerisms, as well as his gorgeous smile... i was about to jump inside of the screen just to live a brief moment in that incredible rural chinese scenery with him.

Naviguant entre les montagnes, entre ces grandes étendues vertes toute en simplicité comme pour nous montrer comment vivre le moment présent tout en douceur. 

Ce film nous montre aussi l’évolution de la relation des personnages, entre père et fils. Un père souvent absent, et un fils en manque de figure paternel. Ces deux postiers cherchant désespérément à renouer un lien difficile à retrouver. 

Une fin très belle, encore une fois tout en douceur: la fierté d’un père pour son fils.
