Tin Men proves that Danny Devito has been preparing to play Frank Reynolds his whole life. From the anger, scheming, and outbursts, Devito's many fantastic roles in the 80s showed glimpses into how unhinged he can be. And it’s remarkable to watch. In terms of writing, Barry Levinson is one of the best. His dialogue is naturalistic and hilarious; Devito’s performance just elevated it all. Pitch-perfect acting, a tight comedic script, and an excellent soundtrack made this simple premise entertaining and emotionally resonant. So glad I watched this. Tin Men is a 💎 4.5/5.

Interesting lil film. Dreyfuss and DeVito are good and the 60s Baltimore vibes are cool. Wish there was more back and forth before there’s a clear winner in the rivalry. Surprised I’ve never heard anyone mention this ever.
