*"What'd you say?"
"I said she's way too fuckable to be an FBI agent."*
--
*"I'M A GOOD COP!"
"Well, that's a total oxymoron."*
Directionally bonkers. What would typically feel like a tight thriller, has a ton of shambling moving parts that don't quite connect with one another and most of it falling flat. The reveal doesn't work because the acting here is not hiding it? I felt insane. The demented threesome was awesome though!
But, with all of this, there are segments here that feel like "of course, this was directed by David Lynch's daughter."

Highly predictable, but I was still pretty anxious. Tbh, I was kinda disappointed. I was hoping my expectations would be subverted. Great performances all around though.

The "mid 2000s indie thriller with 2 locations" is a genre near and dear to my heart and this really took me back.
(I've probably torrented this 6 times over the last 15 years.)
