Yeah, this was not great.
From the inconsistency in tone to the forced hyper-absurdity and stupidity, the movie is simply not good. This is not an example of a film that doesn’t take itself seriously, this is an example of lazy and messy writing, and defending it by saying “yall just hate fun!!!” just makes it worse. I love fun and unserious movies!!! I love them!!!! This is not one of them!!! Go back to the writers room!!!!
