Dare I say, Schmoeller saw some Fulci? There’s verve and style but too much monk-y business! The vibes are great, the gags are great, the pacing is languid, and the plot is stretched on a rack. Monastery Freak!

Is this really Curse IV? I feel like that cover might be wrong. I admit I expected it to be terrible. It’s actually pretty good. It’s not scary but it has a great atmosphere to it. I dig religious/demonic based horror movies and this one has an interesting story being set at a monastery. I think it could be ripe for a remake and become something really scary in the right hands. Check it out!
