Very well-researched, somber, realistic and heartbreaking dramatisation of the disaster. Feels very authentic and respectful, gives a good view into how horrible it was, and the extreme hubris that helped cause it.
Not sure if I can go back to appreciating the James Cameron film now, so much of it seems to be directly lifted from this film, and the love story feels even more tacked on now
