I have no idea what the hell was going on in this, but the vibes were impeccable. Such an odd eerie tone, and the cinematography and techniques just enhance it. Lombard is absolutely stunning and legitimately scary here. Just 64 minutes and by all intents a B movie, but still nonetheless something to admire.

By the end I wanted to adore this, but I think I just adore the last 30 minutes. The connecting of the stories was a bit clunky and confusing at first and didn’t quite make sense, but once everything was fully enmeshed together we got a final act that was magical. The camera work, intense closeups, and even changes in makeup helped bring a level of characterization that was just beautiful.
