This movie is so trashy 2000s it has not one, not two, but three black guys who their whole existence in the movie is to hype another character. 
I think people don’t realize this is a parody on other parodys of the time, I think at least.
Anyway whoever thought of that I Can Feel It In The Air Tonight deserves an Oscar.
Finally a cover version of a wildly popular song from an obscure movie that is available on Spotify(the cover for Play The Funky Music)

Edit: turns out it’s an Suger High from Emprie records situation where there is a song on the official soundtrack that is different from the original but isn’t the same as the one in the movie for some reason.
Turns out there is a director cut of this, I have to watch it now.

I thought this was better when I was younger but holy shit it’s so so bad 😭😭 

Ed Decter only directed one movie which was this one but wrote some absolute classics, so I was really surprised at how bad this was. It tries to be this brand new high school comedy but it’s just a shit show really. Jokes get old after 10 minutes then you’re asking what the fuck is going on here?

Uses every cliche from early 2000’s comedy, but it just doesn’t work. At least that’s what it feels like anyways. Shit you’d laugh at as a kid, but when you’re older you realise it’s really REALLY bad.
