This film fits extremely well with the term: "Every frame a painting" because every shot of this mvoie cpild be put in a museam and called high-class photography, I can truly see how this inspired Sofia Coppola and her films, I'm very glad that I just (almost) finiahed my Sofia Coppola binge; I'll rewatch Marie Antoinette soon. Going along with the technicalities of the film, with its hypnotic music and editing the main story itslef is so interesting that when a not-so-intersting side plot occur, mainly with the young Englishman, the mystery at the heart is so interesting that I can excuse it because everything seems off in a way, every character is acting in a strange way, always unintentional in the characters eyes, and their actions responding to the mystery complements the entire thing.
