I thought it was interesting how his head was aways covered, right up until the very end when he was no longer Remo. they emphasized twice how he had to die to be reborn again. I did not except him to be reborn as a cunty woman, I fucking loved it. I loved him with his big coat, purse, and constant reapplying of makeup. to her being Dolores and/or Lola, who cuts the inmates hair and loved knowing someone's astrology sign. she had no idea her background or who she was, but I think subconsciously she knew exactly where to go and when she needed to be there. sadly, she had to return as Remo and leave Lola behind. he returned as a jockey, but it seemed his new self was still within him. it's all a bit confusing, but I feel that's just surrealism. and the soundtrack tied it all together very well.
